Anonymity, Privacy, and Weasels on a Plane

It seems a while since I dissed Facebook/Zuckerberg here. Well, there’s a lot else going on, and I haven’t yet decided what to make of “The Social Network“, which I saw on a plane last month.

However, Richi Jennings has been keeping his eyes open, and monitoring the spat between Zuckerberg and 4Chan’s Christopher Poole over anonymity. http://blogs.computerworld.com/17966/anonymity_zuckerberg_wrong_says_4chans_moot_sxsw

FWIW, I find myself equally alienated by both Zuckerberg and Poole, but the polarization of views is interesting…
