LinkedIn Privacy

Paul Laudanski, director of ESET’s Cyber Threat Analysis Center (CTAC) recently followed up his comprehensive blog on Facebook Privacy with a companion piece on LinkedIn privacy.

While LinkedIn hasn’t attracted the same attention from privacy-aware security people that Facebook has (probably because it doesn’t keep changing its settings to a less secure default without telling anyone), many people with LinkedIn accounts will certainly want to check their privacy settings, given the amount of biographical and other data that may be kept there. Potentially rich pickings for phishers and ID thieves…
