Tax scams in Ireland and the UK

Further to the tax scams referred to here, ESET Ireland’s Urban Schrott recently described a similar scam post seen in Ireland. It’s not identical, but it includes a form into which you’re supposed to enter your debit card details. (Not a good idea.) Some UK-specific scams include a similar form but tailored for a UK audience. With the UK deadline for tax returns less than a month away, it’s likely that we’ll see further variations.
